The conference touched on many aspects related to organic food, the market, information and communication - and how the quality of food can also determine the quality in how we communicate to the consumer. The objective behind Valore Alimentare is to widen the horizons, going beyond the simple product, communicating values and ideals, a choice that despite being against the mainstream offers an important answer to the growing awareness amongst the public.</description><link><![CDATA[http://metalli-lindberg.com/magazine.asp?post=4]]></link><pubDate><![CDATA[2010-12-15]]></pubDate></item><item><title>Grandi Molini Italiani: from simplicity to communicating more value</title><description>Flour has always been the basis of most of the food we eat and quite often we are not aware of the fact. For this reason Grandi Molini Italiani - the first milling group in Italy and one of the largest in Europe - sums up the value of its flours with the slogan: &quot;the first ingredient&quot;. Grandi Molini Italiani decided to add an ethical value to the product by developing a new line of flours from organic agriculture.&lt;br/&gt; The packaging is an important means for communicating and so a simple pack becomes content. Each element transmits simplicity and respect: from the choice of handwriting, to the simple language of the text, through to the clean and essential design. Besides the packaging we also worked on the restyling of their logo and the development of new materials.&lt;br/&gt;

There is no formula that fits everybody, because this environment - even more than other types of workspace - expresses a style, ideas, an interior and personal world. We were happy that a magazine like Creative Review, a point of reference in the graphic art and communication sector, published a photograph of our office together with those of several other European offices.</description><link><![CDATA[http://metalli-lindberg.com/magazine.asp?post=2]]></link><pubDate><![CDATA[2010-12-15]]></pubDate></item><item><title>CLEAR Village: creating a model for a sustainable community together</title><description>The CLEAR Village project originates from a very simple idea which should be applied in all sectors: summoning a large number of specialists from different countries and getting them to work together, so as to create something new, positive and effective. The goal of the CLEAR Village Lab in Barcelona was to develop a strategy for the creation of sustainable communities, both in urban scenarios, as well as in the outskirts and countryside. Metalli Lindberg was also invited to give our contribution, as experts in sustainable design and ethical communication, together with about 80 other specialists from various sectors and who came from 20 different countries. At first, the workshop focussed on creating a consensus with regard to desirable and feasible lifestyles. From here, we moved on to analysing specific locations, developing a brief, and defining concrete strategies. It was a very important and stimulating experience, fully in tune with our idea of &quot;collaborative thinking&quot;. We hope to be able to participate in further editions.&lt;br/&gt;

In 3 years of collaboration with this client we have created a higher level of awareness among its users. Coordinating their corporate identity has involved creating many materials such as brochures, a magazine, signage, the imagery for their many initiatives, exhibition stands and displays. On every pack, nearly 500 products, tables with symbols and information indicate each material and their characteristics for recycling. This is part of a on-going commitment with the company to reduce packaging, excessive use of materials and transport and lower the impact on the environment.&lt;br/&gt;

Even better if we buy more unpackaged goods or those with only the essential packaging.
